This is a juried art show for Burbank Art Association’s active members. Please be sure to attend and sign in at the monthly meetings. The last date to qualify for membership and eligibility to exhibit for the Fall Show will be Wednesday, Oct 18 ( The same night as our October meeting!). Please be up to date with your dues, as it will not be permissible this time to pay for membership at the CAC-Take-In for the Exhibit.
There is a $20.00 gallery fee for entering your piece of art.
Take-In day is Monday, October 30, 9am to 12pm.
Your submission must meet the Creative Art Center Guidelines & Regulations:
Frames – all work should be framed or the canvas edges painted.
Mats - neutral colors. Cover watercolors, drawings and other easily damaged work with glass, or Plexiglas if bigger than 18 x 24“. Most important: All work should have proper hanging wires.
Ceramic/Glass work – All pieces must be fired and auxiliary pieces securely attached. Work must not contain sharp points or edges and must be securely attached to pedestals with quake mount. A detailed checklist will be available for everyone at the October meeting on Wed. Oct 18, together with the entry form.
The Artists’ Reception will be on Friday, November 4 at the CAC, from 7-9pm. Please sign up for the food list at our October 18th Meeting.
